Aluminum plates have characteristics such as lightweight, corrosion resistance, and excellent electrical and thermal conductivity. Some alloys can be strengthened through heat treatment. For example, the 2-series (aluminum-copper alloy) has high hardness, the 5-series (aluminum-magnesium alloy) has high tensile strength, and the 7-series (aluminum-zinc-magnesium-copper alloy) is a super-hard aluminum alloy. Processing methods include cold rolling, hot rolling, anodizing, electrostatic spraying, etc. Among them, the anodized film is corrosion-resistant but has a single color, while electrostatic spraying can achieve diverse colors and is wear-resistant and impact-resistant.
Application Fields
Aluminum plates are widely used in fields such as building facades, transportation, electronics and electrical appliances, and aerospace. For example, single-layer aluminum plates are used for building exterior wall decoration, the 3003 alloy is used in humid environments (such as air conditioners and vehicle bottoms), the 5052 alloy is used for aircraft fuel tanks, and the 7075 alloy is suitable for high-strength mechanical parts. In addition, aluminum plates are also used in lighting equipment, solar reflector sheets, packaging materials, and daily household items, combining functionality and aesthetics.
